Water Heater Installation

At Tower Energy, we provide complete water heater installation services.

Water heater installation is best left to professionals so that the unit installed works as specified by its manufacturers. Water heaters can work on gas or electricity. A good plumber will always be able to give you the right product guidance based on your usage. Gas heaters are cheaper to operate but require you to pay more when you are buying them, as they are costlier than electric heaters.

Installing electric heaters is easier than installing gas heaters. and your plumber will need to locate the cold water connection to the heater and the hot water piping in both cases before starting installation as well as an electric point. This may be required for operating pilot lights in gas heaters.

Installation is started by turning off the water supply in the cold water pipe. Also, the power connection is switched off from the main switchboard. The heater is then installed by the plumber at the chosen location that has to be in close proximity of both the cold and hot water connections and the power source.

Copper piping is used to connect the cold water inlet, generally at the top of the heater, to the cold water supply. Similar work must be carried out for the hot water.

In the case of gas heaters, the plumber will make connections to the gas supply instead of the electrical power. The heater must then be tested for proper functioning.

Leaky Faucets

Toilet Replacements

Toilets are made from ceramic and are installations that have a very long life if they are not misused. However, the mechanical components do need occasional maintenance, repair, or replacement.

For replacing the toilet, the old one has to be removed. Our plumbers will assess if your waste piping needs to be fixed. Many times, the flange connecting the old toilet to the waste line becomes cracked and will need replacement.

Clogged Drains

Drains in kitchens, bathrooms, and laundry rooms can get clogged with the material over time. This typically occurs when they are misused or foreign objects are flushed in the toilet.

Kitchen drains get clogged when food particles, oil and kitchen grease, vegetable and fruit peels or other kitchen waste is disposed of, especially if you are not using a good garbage disposal. In bathrooms and laundries this clogging can occur when hair, paper, rags or other material find their way into drains.

A clogged drain can overflow into living spaces and damage carpets, floors walls, and above all give rise to unpleasant odors from the wastewater. It is a plumbing emergency that requires immediate attention from Tower Energy plumbers.

Our plumbers will use plungers, flexible augers, and/or air pressure to clear the clogged drain, and have it functioning as it should. In most cases, these techniques work. However, please keep in mind that more severe blockages may require more extensive plumbing work.

Drain Cleaning

There are times when even if all the drains inside the home have been cleared of all the obstructions that have been clogging them, that you will still find wastewater backing up in traps or taking a long time to drain away.

This indicates a problem with the piping in the main drain that all drains in the home are connected to and will generally be outside the home.

This requires the home's wastewater drain to be cleaned. Here is where Tower Energy plumbers will bring in their expertise and some sophisticated equipment for cleaning the drain.

We will determine where the blockage is occurring. Then, we'll use motorized augers or high-speed jets of water to clean the drain.

At times, we may need to insert closed-circuit cameras into the drain to understand the location and nature of the blockage.

In severe cases, the sewer drain pipes will need to be replaced. In these cases, there may be excavation needed. However, there are instances when we can use trenchless pipe replacement techniques.
